Business Function
We cover corporate customers in Shipping, Aviation, Logistics and Transportation sectorsand provide a full range of commercial and investment banking products and services, including cash management, trade finance, working capital finance, hedging solutions, project finance, asset financing, advisory services and capital market transactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the shipping, aviation, logistics, and transportation industries within the Institutional Banking Group.
- Proactively identify and capitalize on growth opportunities to expand the client portfolio and drive revenue generation.
- Provide comprehensive financial solutions and advisory services to meet the diverse needs of clients, including financing, cash management, and trade services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored and innovative solutions
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and client needs to anticipate and address their evolving requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the bank's market position and competitiveness in the target sectors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of risk management and control.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5 (AVP) / 8 (VP) years of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with experience in covering SOE and POE corporate clients in the relevant industries
- Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships, as well as generating new business opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strong credit analysis and risk management capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the achievement of departmental and organizational goals
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese/Putonghua
