The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for leading the day-to-day armored car operations, missing deposits, change order issues, related analytics and ad-hoc reporting for the Treasury function at Ross Stores. The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for aspects of new store openings, including establishing armored car and banking services for new stores. The Treasury Analyst will also prepare monthly treasury-related journals and will assist with treasury strategies and other functions as needed. In addition to the Treasury Analyst will assist in covering for daily cash management, updating wire payments, confirming wire payments and updating vendor templates.
The Treasury Analyst will have opportunities to participate in Treasury and cross-functional projects while assisting stores with day-to-day resolution for armored service concerns, cash deposit issues and change order issues needing to be resolved timely.
The Treasury Analyst will report to the Director of Treasury but will frequently interact with the Vice President of Treasury in addition to other Corporate Finance and Stores team members.
The base salary range for this role is $70,310 - $101,400. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Address daily armored carrier missed pickups by coordinating with Stores and vendors to identify root causes and ensure next day service. Manage the Treasury Operations inbox, providing timely responses and follow through to resolution. Manage armored car Excel-based invoices, missing deposits and change order issues. Represent Treasury in storm and store closure related emergency calls, communicate status updates, and lead weekly vendor meetings to ensure issues are addressed
• Analyze and present key elements of treasury service setup and ongoing support for new stores, including proximity studies, bank fee costs, branch availability, armored car services, cash ordering funds, credit card acceptance, and bank account setup.
• Manage creating month end journal entries, reconciliations and producing variance explanations, resolutions, analysis, and reporting for check warranty.
• Manage bank signer updates and audit of signers.
• Provide backup support for daily cash management duties such as payment setups, payment confirmations and wire templates.
• Analyze and report on corporate gift card and check warranty programs.
• Assist other corporate finance functions/projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 2+ years of progressive experience, preferably in treasury/corporate finance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to cope with pressure and changing priorities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior executives and banking counterparts
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
