About the PositionJackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist for a hospital assignment in Atlanta, GA. The clinician will perform a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The role includes working in the emergency department, inpatient areas, operating room, and performing portable exams. The clinician will evaluate images for technical quality, operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment, and collaborate with students by performing competency check-offs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a JRCERT or ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered and accredited by ARRT and licensed by the state, if applicable.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year experience at a Level 1 trauma center, or 2–3 years experience at a large bed Level 2 trauma facility.
- Experience working in Emergency Department, inpatient settings, portable radiography, and operating room procedures.
- Experience with pediatric and neonatal imaging or willingness to learn pediatrics and neonates.
- Proficiency with EMR systems EPIC and Sectra.
- Experience operating GE, Philips, and CareStream radiology equipment.
- Mask fit testing required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience precepting or working with students and performing competency check-offs.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern noted in order: Monday through Friday schedule with evening time block referenced (shift specifics provided by client).
- Assigned to a department by day and expected to float to other departments as needed.
- Must be comfortable performing portables, ED, inpatient, and OR radiography.
- EMR: EPIC and Sectra.
- Equipment: GE, Philips, and CareStream.
