What You’ll Do
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting operational decision-making and financial planning across the hospital by:
Developing and managing hospital and departmental budgets
Creating hospital and department financial forecasts, variance analyses and operational performance models
Analyzing operational, organizational, and staffing trends to support leadership decisions
Supporting departmental leadership with productivity reviews and hours/UOS performance management
Building tracking tools and dashboards to monitor financial and operational performance
Preparing and presenting tailored financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership
Supporting strategic business planning projects and healthcare initiatives
Providing project management oversight for special assignments and system-wide initiatives
Partnering across medical, operational, and financial departments to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
Requirements
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, or related field
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in healthcare financial analysis, consulting, or related technical/business environment
Skills & Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including:
Knowledge of acute care hospitals and integrated delivery systems
Advanced skills in financial modeling, spreadsheets, and presentation tools
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and project management abilities
Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across departments
High level of professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive financial information
Personal accountability and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Respectful, service-oriented approach when interacting with patients, staff, and leadership
