JOB DESCRIPTIONHearst Television is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Ad Sales Platforms to help drive the strategy and evolution of the systems that power our advertising revenue business.
Reporting to the Director of Product for Advertising Sales Systems, this role is responsible for platform product management across internal tools that support sales and operations workflows, including CRM and linear traffic systems. You will play a critical role in modernizing and scaling these platforms to improve efficiency, data quality, and revenue performance.
This is a highly cross-functional position requiring close partnership with Sales, Revenue Operations, Engineering, and Senior Leadership. Success in this role requires strong product judgment, the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, and a deep understanding of how systems support real-world business workflows.
What You'll Do
• Own and drive the product strategy and roadmap for ad sales platforms, including CRM and traffic/order management systems
• Act as the product lead for internal tools used by sales and operations teams across Hearst Television
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to identify opportunities, define priorities, and deliver impactful solutions
• Translate complex business workflows into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve system usability, scalability, and data integrity
• Identify and drive opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and increase operational efficiency
• Support integration and interoperability across systems, ensuring a cohesive platform ecosystem
• Measure product success through adoption, performance metrics, and business outcomes; iterate based on insights and feedback
What You Bring
• 5-8+ years of product management experience, ideally focused on platforms, internal tools, or operational systems
• Experience working with CRM systems, order management, or advertising sales/traffic systems (linear experience is a huge plus)
• Proven ability to work across a diverse set of stakeholders, including sales teams, senior leadership, finance, and engineering
• Strong product thinking with the ability to connect business needs to scalable system solutions
• Experience managing products that require cross-system integrations, data flows, and operational alignment
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Nice to Have
• Experience in media, broadcasting, or advertising technology
• Familiarity with revenue operations, trafficking workflows, or sales planning systems
• Experience modernizing or replacing legacy systems

Work Environment
This role is based in Charlotte, NC and follows a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).
