Description
Position DescriptionSeattle City Light, a department of the City of Seattle, is one of the nation's largest municipally owned utilities in terms of the number of customers served. Over the years we have worked very hard to keep Seattle's electricity affordable, reliable, and environmentally sound. Today, City Light is a recognized national leader in energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
Seattle City Light's Work Management team is seeking a Senior Management Systems Analyst to support work and asset management processes at the Skagit Hydroelectric Project. This position will be based at Skagit and will work closely with Skagit Operations, Work Management, Asset Management, maintenance crews, planning and scheduling staff, CIP project managers, and other utility partners.
This role supports the systems, data, processes, and relationships that allow work to be planned, scheduled, performed, tracked, and improved. The position will help maintain preventive maintenance processes, create and update work orders, support scheduling activities, troubleshoot system and process issues, and serve as a key connection point between site operations and the broader Work and Asset Management program.
This is not a data entry position, and it is not an IT position, although it includes system support, data stewardship, and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will be curious, motivated, service-oriented, and interested in understanding the bigger picture of how work management supports safe and reliable utility operations. This position requires someone who can build relationships, listen to business needs, help create shared understanding, and take pride in supporting the people and processes that keep the utility moving.
This position reports to the Work Management Manager.
