Position Summary:
The Senior Director of FP&A is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all investments for Straumann North America including all Gross to Net deductions and Operational Expenses. This leader will motivate and develop a team of finance professionals to efficiently provide sound financial analysis that will influence decision-making throughout the business.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
• Lead the development and implementation of key performance metrics to proactively monitor and manage spend across all North America business units.
• Enhance OPEX reporting transparency by enabling deep-dive analytics and detailed spend visibility; foster leadership alignment and drive a culture of financial accountability across the region.
• Oversee analysis of Gross-to-Net deductions, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with revenue recognition standards and statutory requirements.
• Design and implement frameworks and initiatives to drive revenue growth, strengthen pricing and rebate governance, and optimize overall margins.
• Partner closely with commercial leadership to shape strategy, define value propositions, and establish pricing structures that maximize profitability.
• Build and maintain robust product-, brand-, and segment-level P&Ls, along with cost-to-serve analytics, to support data-driven decision-making and profitable growth.
• Collaborate with Marketing to evaluate ROI and effectiveness of programs, ensuring optimal allocation of investments across existing brands and new product go-to-market initiatives.
• Develop and lead product-level operational and financial dashboards; deliver insights and actionable recommendations to improve regional performance.
• Lead financial modeling and analysis for new business opportunities, including acquisitions, customer expansion, and product launches.
• Conduct channel performance analysis and provide strategic recommendations to drive margin expansion and optimization.
• Champion Finance and IT transformation initiatives by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate processes.
• Identify and execute high-impact special projects aimed at improving efficiency and scalability across the organization.
• Synthesize and present financial insights across multiple dimensions (region, product, customer) to support executive decision-making.
• Lead the monthly sales forecasting process in partnership with Sales Operations, driving continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.
• Oversee the annual planning cycle and quarterly reforecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial objectives.

Physical Attributes:
• May sit for extended periods of time.
• Bend, crouch and reach continuously while performing required job tasks.
• Utilize dexterity abilities to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, to perform filing, and related job responsibilities and attention to detail competence.
• Spend significant time reading both on paper and on a computer.
Work Environment:
• General office environment.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline
• 10+ years of full P&L and analytics of Mergers and Acquisitions experience
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or other advanced Degree
• CPA, CMA or CFA
• Ability to direct and influence resources without direct reporting relationships
• Exemplary interpersonal skills including high integrity standards and emotional maturity with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to connect with both Internal and External business partners and collaborate effectively to deliver on organizational objectives
• Ability to distill extensive amounts of data into an executive level story to influence business decisions
• Sensitive to deadlines, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize deliverables and appropriately delegate to team based on skillsets and experiences
• Be able to work with, lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Salary: $180,000 - $190,000Annually. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
