Description
DESCRIPTION:Duties: Design, develop, and implement software solutions that align with the firm's standards to address business needs. Tackle complex business challenges using innovative engineering practices to enhance security, stability, and modernization. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and design specifications for software components. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. Perform testing, debugging, and validation to ensure high-quality software delivery. Adhere to organizational deployment and release processes to ensure efficient and streamlined software deployment. Collaborate with deployment teams to facilitate smooth application releases and provide post-deployment support. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues to maintain system reliability and performance. Support database activities, including data validation, maintenance, and reporting, to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Analyze application logs and metrics to identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions. Work with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions that meet both business and technical requirements. Actively engage in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), collaborate with stakeholders, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to process and software enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 years (36 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Backend Developer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and SQL to write enterprise software application code to handle large-scale data processing enterprise; Utilizing object-oriented and functional programming to develop applications based on business requirements; Applying Spring Application Framework principles, including Inversion of Control and Aspect-Oriented Programming, to design and develop modules that ensure applications are secure, stable, and scalable; Using Spring MVC and Java Server Pages (JSP) technologies to enhance user interface module of the application; Designing and developing REST APIs to meet backend requirements for applications; Applying Spring Data and Jakarta Persistence API to develop data access modules for the application; Utilizing Spring Security with OAuth 2.0 to secure applications; Using Agile methodology to collaborate in an Agile software development environment; Using IntelliJ and Postman tools to develop, debug, and test application code; Using JUnit and Mockito to write unit and integration tests, automating testing as part of CI/CD processes to meet coverage standards; Using Jenkins to support CI/CD pipeline processing; Using Microsoft Excel for data analysis; Utilizing cloud computing to migrate application to public cloud to modernize and optimize the cost.
