Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.
Global Business Services is recognized for flawless execution, sound risk management, operational resiliency, operational excellence and innovation.
In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview*
Global Finance was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support & Regulatory reporting. Over the years, the scope of Global Finance has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.
The CFOC (CFO Change) team, which is part of the COO & Governance organization within CFO division, delivers finance projects and technology solutions for the Bank of America (BAC) enterprise and also supports Line of Business (LOB) projects that impact our core finance and general ledger applications. The CFO Change team is responsible for overall program/project management, business analysis and requirements, functional design, testing, organization readiness and deployment activities.
Job Description*
This job is responsible for supporting/managing a portfolio of medium/large projects which enhance Finance systems, processes and solutions across several lines of business (LOB) in compliance with applicable Enterprise and Chief Financial Officer Group policies.
Key responsibilities include working closely with the LOB, Change Management, Technology and other partners to execute the project plan. Job expectations include performing day-to-day project activities and being actively involved in the execution of project deliverables.
Responsibilities*
- Executes project deliverables while working with various partners and user community
- Completes required documentation, business analysis, testing, and operational readiness activities within project timelines
- Identifies upstream and downstream impacts associated with project related changes and/or decisions
- Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Control requirements
- Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology and Project Management
Ledger Program Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible to deliver activities and tasks assigned by the Change Workstream Lead
- Responsible to document and escalate risks, issues and decision to the Change Workstream Lead
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Perform analysis with cross-team associates, primarily business leads, to document requirements for assigned sub-workstream
- Lead meetings with cross-team associates, primarily technology architect and business, to drive the Design process and documentation
- Lead meetings with cross-team associates, primarily technology architect and business, to drive the Build process and documentation
- Lead meetings with cross-team associates to execute testing of the solution, FUT, SIT and oversee UAT
- Support Organizational Readiness team with readiness activities
- Work closely with Change PMO and EPMO workstream leads to provide updates to status reporting
- Stakeholder management will be required across multiple global locations

Education - Graduate degree in Commerce, Business or Technology.
