- Senior Human Resources Generalist
Description
When you join our team as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, you will deliver day-to-day HR support at our sawmill, partnering with site leadership to drive key initiatives, support employee relations, and ensure the effective execution of Interfor’s HR programs. You will also provide practical HR guidance, support workforce development, and serve as a trusted resource for employees across the site.

What You’ll Do
- Partner with mill leadership on staffing, retention, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Deliver core HR services including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Provide day-to-day HR support to leaders and employees, addressing concerns and serving as a trusted resource on site.
- Ensure accurate HR operations by managing employee records, payroll-related processes, leave administration, and reporting on key metrics.
- Collaborate across teams by working with regional HR, EHS, and other partners to deliver consistent programs and support across the site.
What You Offer
- 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources (employee relations, community engagement, hourly recruitment, and workforce development)
- Experience with time and attendance systems, applicant tracking systems, payroll software and MS Office
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with excellent interpersonal, listening, and organizational skills, able to prioritize effectively and exercise sound judgment in a team-focused environment.
