Our client is a global player in renewable energy, growing fast across the APAC markets. They are strengthening their treasury and funding leadership capability at the regional level, with this position reporting directly to the CFO.

Resposibilities:

1. Lead and strengthen treasury, funding, and corporate finance activities across the APAC region, partnering closely with the CFO and business leadership.
2. Develop and implement regional treasury policies, governance frameworks, controls, and operating standards to support business growth and financial discipline.
3. Manage liquidity, cash flow forecasting, working capital, cash pooling, and funding requirements across multiple markets.
4. Lead funding and capital structure initiatives, including debt financing, refinancing, credit facilities, shareholder funding, and capital allocation strategies.
5. Oversee relationships with banks, financial institutions, lenders, and external stakeholders, managing facility negotiations and funding solutions.
6. Manage corporate debt facilities, guarantees, bonding lines, and financing arrangements while ensuring compliance with financial covenants and obligations.
7. Support project and corporate financing activities, including debt structuring, drawdowns, lender reporting, and ongoing facility management.
8. Evaluate and execute funding strategies to support acquisitions, investments, project development, and regional expansion initiatives.
9. Manage foreign exchange, interest rate, and financial risk exposures, implementing appropriate hedging and risk mitigation strategies.
10. Oversee intercompany funding, capital injections, shareholder loans, dividend distributions, and treasury-related tax considerations.
11. Drive treasury transformation and automation initiatives, including treasury management systems, banking connectivity, and process optimisation.
12. Partner with Finance, Tax, Accounting, Legal, and commercial teams to provide strategic financial support and enhance decision-making.
13. Prepare and present reporting and insights on liquidity, funding, debt, capital structure, guarantees, and financial risk to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Degree in finance, accounting or economics. A Master's or ACT/CTP is a plus.
2. 10+ years in corporate treasury or corporate finance, including 3+ years in a regional or lead role.
3. Debt financing / bond / hedging experience is a must.
4. Open to candidates from investment banks.
5. Track record of building or transforming finance and treasury functions across multiple countries, including emerging markets.
6. Hands-on experience with debt facilities, bank guarantees and FX/IR hedging. You're comfortable negotiating facility and ISDA documents.
7. Solid grasp of the tax, legal and IFRS 9 implications of funding and treasury transactions.
8. Treasury systems and bank connectivity implementation experience.
9. Strong communicator who can explain complex finance topics simply. Hands-on builder mindset.
10. Ideally from renewables or infrastructure sector with exposure in project finance, IPO readiness or SOX.
