Description
Job Title: Real Estate Senior AssociateLocation: Charlotte, NC
Company & Position Overview:
A real estate development and investment firm focused primarily on residential opportunities across the Carolinas, with an emphasis on build-to-rent (BTR), multifamily, and build-to-sale communities, is seeking to add a Senior Associate to its team.
The Senior Associate will support the firm's investment, development, and asset management platform, playing an integral role across the full lifecycle of residential development projects. The role offers hands-on exposure to underwriting, development execution, and asset management, working closely with senior leadership in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
The Senior Associate will be responsible for:
- Cradle-to-grave involvement in residential development and investment activities, including underwriting, execution, and asset management.
- Financial modeling, analysis, and evaluation of new development opportunities.
- Review of development budgets, operating financials, and key contracts.
- Preparation of investment materials and reporting for internal use and GP/LP investors.
- Direct interaction with operating partners, capital partners, lenders, and other third-party consultants.
The Senior Associate should have the following qualifications:
- BA/BS degree; finance, economics, real estate, or related discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate development, investment, or asset management.
- Demonstrated cradle-to-grave experience across acquisitions, development, and asset management.
- Experience within residential rental housing, preferably build-to-rent or multifamily.
- Strong financial skillset with advanced Excel proficiency; Juniper Square experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a small, high‑accountability team environment.
