Analyst - Real Estate Investments

A leading vertically integrated real estate investment and development firm is seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join its Investments team. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full investment lifecycle and the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals on sourcing, underwriting, and executing real estate transactions across multiple asset classes and markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new real estate investment opportunities.
• Perform detailed financial underwriting and due diligence for prospective acquisitions.
• Build, enhance, and maintain sophisticated financial models to analyze returns, capital structures, and risk.
• Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda and support Investment Committee presentations.
• Conduct market research to validate investment assumptions, identify trends, and support deal theses.
• Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, lenders, and third-party consultants to advance transactions through closing.
• Track and manage the deal pipeline, monitoring transaction status, milestones, and key investment metrics.
• Provide analytical support and strategic recommendations related to pricing, structuring, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related discipline.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Argus is a plus.
• Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and performance metrics, including IRR, equity multiple, DCF, and NOI.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex analyses.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for property tours, market research, and due diligence activities.
