This first-line leadership position will manage a portfolio of manufacturing applications and technologies. With a portion of the Enterprise Strategy focused on Modern Manufacturing and Technology Leadership, the role will be instrumental to the future success of facilities worldwide. It will be fast-paced, highly visible, and driving the latest in available technology to support people and processes in every corner of the globe.

What You Will Do:

Direct experience with manufacturing, quality, execution, and supporting systems, such as NX CAD/CAM, Teamcenter/VPP, CAPP+, MESA/MESM, in one or more facilities is required. Familiarity with Caterpillar IT processes and procedures is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be motivated by customer success, committed to value-based outcomes, adept at managing numerous projects simultaneously, handle high-stress situations gracefully, and heavily biased toward action and velocity.

What You Have:

• Understanding of IT Controls
• Ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds (technical, managerial, vendors)
• Excellent communication skills
• Understand how to manage a budget
• Understand ITSM policies

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Experience managing a global team (of both Cat and Agency resources)
• Knowledge of the Caterpillar IT Offer to Sell process
• Ability to recognize and promote growth opportunities for team members
• Understanding of the purchasing process (FR3, Guided Buy, Coupa)

• The ideal location for this role is East Peoria - IL
• This position may require 10% travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
