SALARY/ PAY: $56,000 - $64,000 Annually. (This is a salaried/exempt position.) (Wage determined by experience verified by references and upon completion of interview).
SUMMARY/ ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(Human Resources Recruiter position role, mainly but not limited to;)
This position reports to Director of Safety & Human Resources, and Upper Management.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Post job openings, screen applicants, conduct interviews, and create job offers.
Support HR in the onboarding process with orientations, paperwork, etc.
Support HR in the offboarding process with termination letters, exit interviews, etc.
Learn and be well versed in employee benefits and company policies & procedures. Assist employees in these categories.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. This includes acting as a company privacy officer.
Assist HR in all improvements and implementation of improvements and new policies.
Show compliance with HR employment laws and regulations.
Support Safety as a vital part of the company culture.
Represent the company at jobs fairs, technical colleges, and other recruiting opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2 years of direct HR experience.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
Organized with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of State and Federal HR / Employment laws & regulations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Experience in the Construction Industry is a plus.
Knowledge of Underground Utility Construction & applicable roles is a plus.
HR Certification is also a plus.
EXPECTATIONS:
This is a FULL-TIME position with the expected working hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm. Some work may be required outside these hours. This position offers a flexible schedule with approval from Upper Management. Attendance is an essential function of this job. A successful candidate must possess a good work ethic and a sense of urgency in completing all job duties in a timely manner. A successful candidate will also adhere to company policies and procedures regarding sick leave and vacation time.
-Occasional travel to Salt Lake City or Malad Idaho may be required, and details can be negotiated upon employment.

Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, & the ability to write correspondence with use of strong language skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ration, & percent.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of database software, internet software, payroll software systems, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.

EXPERIENCE:
This position requires at least 2 years of HR experience.
