We’re seeking a highly engaged and people-focused HR Generalist to join our growing HR team. This is a visible, hands-on role where you’ll support the full employee lifecycle while partnering directly with leaders and employees across multiple locations.
Based in our Rockville, MD office, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the employee experience in the region, while collaborating with colleagues across North America, EMEA, and APAC. What You’ll Do
As a Regional HR Generalist, you will blend strategic partnership with hands-on execution to support a multi-site workforce.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, providing day-to-day guidance on policies, employee relations, and best practices
- Support multiple office locations (Rockville & Washington, DC), building strong on-site relationships and driving employee engagement
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, conflict resolution, and advising on complex workplace matters
- Coach and develop managers on performance management, feedback, and engagement strategies
- Deliver a strong onboarding experience, reinforcing company culture and ensuring successful new hire integration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain consistent HR practices across locations
- Partner cross-functionally with HR operations, payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Contribute to HR programs and process improvements, including policy updates and performance management cycles
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and standards
- Lead and support high-impact HR projects, including organizational changes, M&A activity, and change management initiatives

Location: Rockville, MD: Located in the vibrant King Farm community, convenient access to transit (1 mile from Shady Grove Red Line), dining, green spaces with free parking, and access to an onsite gym. At ISS STOXX we follow a hybrid-policy of 3 days in the office per week.
Base salary: The Rockville, MD expected base pay range is $75,000- $93,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education. The role is bonus incentive eligible.
Requirements
What You Bring
8+ years of HR experience, ideally in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices
Proven ability to build credibility as a trusted advisor, handling sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Experience supporting multi-site or geographically distributed teams
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office tools
(Preferred) Experience with mergers and acquisition integration
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certifications are a plus
