Kessler Collins is actively recruiting a healthcare transactional attorney ready to build something meaningful. Founded fifty years ago, we are a 30-lawyer, business-focused firm based in the Arts District in Dallas, and we’re looking for a lawyer who doesn’t just want to advise on compliance - they want to grow a practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with experience in healthcare regulatory matters, particularly those involving behavioral health providers, who either brings existing work or is motivated to develop it.
We are not a high-volume regulatory shop; and that’s by design. Instead, we offer a platform to handle sophisticated healthcare matters—including regulatory compliance, operational counseling, transactions, and risk management, while also expanding into related areas that align with your strengths, such as corporate, real estate, or litigation support.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory law
Experience advising healthcare providers on regulatory compliance (behavioral health experience strongly preferred, but not required)
Familiarity with federal and state regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, licensing, reimbursement issues)
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building and growing a practice
Ability to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
