Our client is a global financial institution with an expanding Fund Administration Services business in Asia.

Under the current growth strategies, the company is seeking a Regional Leader in the Fund Administration and Accounting business focusing on Private Equity clients.

Reporting to the Global Head of the Business, you will be the leader of a large and expanding unit across the APAC region focusing on Fund Administration and Integrated Accounting Services for the Private Equity funds segment.

You will manage the business in the APAC region, supporting the global business leaders on business development and marketing activities, managing the operations performed by the functional teams (fund administration, consolidation, reporting, cash management, SPV accounting services, Real Estate accounting services) and the quality of service delivery. In addition, you will be responsible for the governance and organisational development in the region for the Fund Administration function, managing costs, risks and compliance as well as to ensure the clients' funds and assets under the company's administration are compliant with regulations.

Working closely with the Regional and Global leaders, you will actively drive business development activities, developing new client mandates and client solutions in Asia, identifying opportunities and service improvement. You will be the key client contacts in the Asia region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader in managing operational units to gain front-line exposure and be actively engaged with business development and client activities.

To qualify, the ideal individual should possess:

• A bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration ideally with CPA / CA / CFA or MBA qualifications.
• Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in Investment Administrations, Fund Administrations / Fund Accounting, gained from Fund Services providers, Asset Management and / or Private Equity
• Experience in Property Accounting and SPV Accounting from Real Estate / Property Companies would also be considered
• Experience gained from Real Estate Private Equity finance and accounting at senior regional levels (CFO / Finance Director) would be highly beneficial
• Additional experience in Business Development, Marketing, Client Servicing and / or Relationship Management with good understanding of the various relevant fund administration / fund accounting services
• Exposure to Private Equity and understanding of the fund structures and services required would be ideal, additional exposure to Real Estate Private Equity, Institutional Real Estate Investors, Real Estate Accounting would be advantageous
• Solid team leadership and management experience of a sizable and operational function
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in Mandarin.
