OUR CLIENT is a high-growth, entrepreneurial real estate advisory and accounting firm who are going through a period of growth. They are seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth.

This is a broad, high-impact role offering direct exposure to clients and offering a chance to make a difference.

THE ROLE:

As Finance Manager, you will act as the lead on all financial matters, combining technical excellence with commercial insight.

Finance Leadership and Oversight:

1. Overseeing the production of financial accounts.
2. Reviewing and delivering of management accounts and complex entity reporting.
3. Preparing statutory accounts, financial statements and reporting to the Board.

Technical and Compliance:

1. Ensuring high-quality delivery of accounts in line with IFRS and UK GAAP.
2. Ownership of VAT, audits, and regulatory compliance.
3. Leading year-end processes and managing external auditors.

Commercial and Strategic Contribution:

1. Leading budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
2. Providing insight into financial performance, cash flow, and debt reporting.
3. Supporting transaction activity, including financial due diligence.

Client and Business Development:

1. Acting as a senior point of contact for clients.
2. Building strong, trusted relationships across the real estate portfolio.
3. Contributing to business growth and supporting client acquisition initiatives.

THE CANDIDATE:

1. ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with strong post-qualified experience.
2. Proven experience within the real estate sector (essential).
3. Strong technical grounding in IFRS and UK GAAP.
4. Background in a fast-paced or growing environment is preferred.
5. Commercially astute, with the ability to influence and challenge.
6. Confident in client-facing situations and stakeholder management.
