Director, Real Estate Asset Management & Investment Strategy

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced real estate professional to drive asset performance, portfolio value creation and strategic investment initiatives across a diversified real estate portfolio in Asia.

The role will work closely with senior management on asset strategy, redevelopment initiatives, investment evaluation and portfolio optimisation across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute asset strategies to enhance portfolio performance and maximise value.
2. Identify and drive repositioning, redevelopment and value-add opportunities.
3. Review asset business plans, budgets, capex programmes and operating performance.
4. Evaluate acquisitions, divestments, redevelopment and joint venture opportunities.
5. Conduct market research, financial analysis and feasibility assessments.
6. Prepare investment recommendations and strategic papers for management review.
7. Work with project, leasing and operating teams to deliver business plan objectives.
8. Engage external stakeholders including operating partners, consultants, lenders and investors.

Requirements

1. Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business or related discipline.
2. Min 12- 15 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, development or portfolio management.
3. Strong understanding of the real estate lifecycle, including investment, development and asset management.
4. Experience in value creation, redevelopment, repositioning and portfolio optimisation.
5. Strong financial modelling, investment evaluation and commercial analysis skills.
6. Exposure to hospitality, mixed-use, commercial, residential or alternative asset classes is advantageous.
7. Familiarity with Asia Pacific and/or Greater China real estate markets preferred.
8. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
