- Corporate Transactional Associate
Description
Milligan Lawless is seeking an Associate Attorney to support its corporate and transactional practice. This position offers the opportunity to take a hands-on role in a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and general corporate representation within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
We are seeking an ambitious, detail-oriented attorney with strong academic credentials and exceptional writing, research and analytical skills. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage effectively with both colleagues and clients. Education, experience or interest in health law is a plus.
The position offers the opportunity to take an active role in a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including:
- Advise clients on a broad range of corporate, real estate and finance law matters
- Draft and negotiate corporate and M&A contracts, including debt financing documents
- Manage transactions from due diligence through closing
- Develop and maintain client relationships
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
- Review, analyze, and summarize complex legal documents
Qualifications include:
- Exceptional writing, research and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients
- Demonstrates initiative in managing workload, including proactively seeking out assignments and collaborating with colleagues across the firm
