Job Summary:
The Commercial Real Estate Manager will originate and service commercial real estate relationships, manage the Commercial Real Estate department in Phoenix, and provide supervision & training to assigned Commercial Real Estate Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
- Performs individual Portfolio Management and manages a loan portfolio in excess of $500 million
- Conducts asset quality assessments and reporting
- Ensures compliance with all regulations and the BT Loan Policy
- Continually seeks out new commercial real estate business development
- Manages the Commercial Real Estate team in Phoenix, which includes conducting regular 1:1's, making hiring decisions, encouraging team development, and conducting performance reviews
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- College degree in a Business related field is preferred
- At least ten years of Commercial Banking/Commercial Real Estate experience required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Strong credit analysis techniques
- Loan evaluation skills
- Loan Documentation knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Bank regulations
