Position Summary:
Mount Auburn Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health's Metro Boston Division, seeks a strategic and collaborative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the SVP/CFO, Finance Operations at Beth Israel Lahey Health, with a dual reporting relationship to the President of Mount Auburn Hospital, the CFO provides financial leadership that supports the hospital's mission, growth strategy, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and asset management.
- Partner with executive and physician leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial analysis and guidance for new programs, service line development, capital investments, and physician recruitment initiatives.
- Oversee financial performance improvement efforts, productivity management, and cost optimization strategies.
- Serve as the hospital's financial representative to senior leadership, board committees, and system-wide stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial, regulatory, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or CPA preferred/required per equivalent credentialing.
- 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including management responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate financial strategy and results to executive leadership and governing boards.
- Strong analytical, operational, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in an academic medical center or complex teaching hospital environment preferred.
Pay Range:
$261,100.00 USD - $300,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for additional compensation, which may include performance-based incentive bonuses.
