Skills and Competencies
- 8-12 years of brand marketing experience, with a mix of creative agency and client-side brand experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience leading integrated brand campaigns from strategy and creative development through production, media execution and measurement
- Hands-on experience across account management, production, brand strategy and creative direction, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and detailed execution
- Strong experience managing media plans, budgets, vendor relationships and agency partners across global initiatives
- Excellent writing, presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical subject matter into clear, audience-ready narratives
- Strong project management skills, with the judgment to manage multiple large, concurrent initiatives across global markets and time zones
- Collaborative, low-ego approach to working with senior stakeholders, cross-functional partners and creative teams
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
Responsibilities
Lead high-visibility brand campaigns, sponsorships and experiences that strengthen Moody's global brand presence.
- Help shape brand strategy, positioning and messaging frameworks that translate complex financial and analytical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Lead integrated brand campaigns from creative brief through final delivery, ensuring execution is on strategy, on brand and on brief
- Partner with senior brand leadership to define campaign objectives, success metrics and post-campaign evaluation
- Oversee paid media planning and buying in partnership with external agencies and media owners, including out-of-home, digital, social and sponsorship media
- Manage media budgets, production timelines and vendor relationships to support efficient, accountable delivery against brand and business goals
- Provide creative direction and quality control across campaign assets, brand experiences and content to ensure consistent expression of Moody's brand identity and voice
- Serve as day-to-day lead on a portfolio of large global brand initiatives, managing scope, timeline, budget and stakeholder alignment
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across marketing, communications, product and business leadership, while mentoring junior brand team members and supporting team-wide governance and best practices
About the Team
The Moody's Brand Team is responsible for stewardship of the Moody's global brand and delivery of engaging content and experiences. The team sits at the center of how Moody's shows up in the world - helping decision-makers navigate risk and unlock opportunity with confidence. You'll help lead campaigns and brand experiences with real visibility, working directly with senior leadership on some of the company's highest-profile initiatives, from global advertising and media programs to flagship sponsorship activations.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $125,800.00 - $182,350.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
