The Role (Responsibilities)

As a Junior Macro Strategist, you won't just be crunching numbers-you'll be telling the story of the LATAM economy.

1. Macro Analysis: Monitor and forecast key economic indicators (GDP, Inflation, Fiscal Policy) across major LATAM economies (Brazil, Mexico, Chile, etc.).
2. Market Strategy: Translate macro views into actionable investment strategies for FX and Fixed Income desks.
3. Publication: Contribute to high-impact research reports distributed to global institutional clients.
4. Client Interaction: Support senior economists in presenting views to hedge funds, asset managers, and internal stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

1. Education: MSc or PhD in Economics, Finance, or a quantitative field.
2. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in Economic Research, Macro Strategy, or Financial Markets (Sell-side or Hedge Fund experience highly desirable).
3. Analytical Toolkit: Proficiency in Econometrics, Data Analysis, and tools like Bloomberg, Eikon, or Python/R.
4. Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a massive advantage.
