Description
Aufgaben- Design and implement the Accounting setup in Avaloq for a new Italian branch (separate Business Unit)
- Configure chart of accounts, balance structures, and booking logic
- Parameterize key Avaloq objects such as: BALACC, BALSTRU, BE_BOOK_RULE, BE_POS_RULE, VAT_SET_RULE
- Define and implement VAT (MWST) rules, ideally aligned with Italian regulations
- Support setup of loans/credit products and related accounting flows
- Integrate accounting with interfaces and upstream/downstream systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into Avaloq parameterization
- Support testing, go-live preparation, and handover into operations
Profil
- Strong experience as an Avaloq Parametrization Specialist with focus on Accounting
- Deep hands-on expertise in Avaloq ICE (no pure analyst/operator profile)
- Proven experience with:Accounting setup (GL, booking rules, balance structures)
- Key Avaloq objects (BALACC, BE_BOOK_RULE, etc.)
- Solid understanding of banking accounting principles
- Ideally experience with VAT / tax setup, preferably Italian VAT
- Experience in building or extending Avaloq setups for new entities/branches
- Ability to work independently in a senior role within a parametrization team
- Fluent in working in complex banking environments (e.g., loans, fees, taxation)
