Stimulating life science innovation, job creation and ecosystem vibrancy across Washington state through engagement, collaboration, promotion, and advocacy.

Life Science Washington is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(6) trade association serving the life sciences industry in the state of Washington. Serving more than 500 members, Life Science Washington brings together research institutions, investors and innovators to grow the state’s life science economy.

Life Science Washington’s strategic plan has three main initiatives:

Ensure life science companies have access to the pool of talent and the workforce training programs they require to locate and grow in Washington state.
Ensure Washington’s life science entrepreneurs continue to have access to the mentoring and resources they require to start and grow their companies.
Elevate the visibility and stature of Washington's existing and emerging life science clusters.

The life science industry encompasses any initiative aimed at improving the quality and standard of life. Its many industry sectors include biotechnology, medical devices, biopharmaceuticals, health IT/digital health, research institutes, global health, bio-agriculture and bio-fuel. Life Science Washington is fully-funded through memberships, sponsorships, and event registration fees.
