

















Description
This position will oversee, coordinate, develop and update fiscal operations of the Ticket Office and assist with the daily operations of the Athletic Business Office. Duties will include but are not limited to the following:Reconcile and balance all business for events, including change fund and money received.
Reconcile Team Travel and Imprest Cash accounts
Prepare and review deposits.
Procurement Card (PCard) administrator; Monitors and approves Pcard transactions; provides guidance and education to staff and coaches
Prepare, analyze and issue weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc reports as requested, review for accuracy, coding and logic per accounting theory and practice, State law, Departmental, University, Conference, NCAA and IRS regulations and guidelines.
Prepare year-end working papers, schedules and variance analyses.
Review revenue and expense accounts for accuracy.
Coordinate special purpose report closing, ensuring that all activity in each sport is completed appropriately.
Assist internal and external auditors in the performance of their duties as necessary.
Assists with reconciling actuals with the University's financial reporting system.
Normal work hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday; however position may require working outside these hours as needed to accomplish tasks, athletic events and special events.
Able to sit for extended periods of time at personal computer.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
Two years of related experience
Organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to interpret, understand, implement, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency with computer operations required.
Practical understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of related experience.
