Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting an Investor Relations Senior Financial Analyst (New Consumer Health Company). This position is located in New Brunswick, NJ and is open to candidates in NY and New Jersey.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company.The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions, and approvals. 

It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes  

Job Description: 

  • Manage and coordinate quarterly earnings activities (annual reports, press release issuance, ESG reporting, etc.), unique events, and large-scale business segment analyst meetings  

  • Support in conducting investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations to external and internal groups 

  • Manage requests for road shows, conference participation, and corporate visits  

  • Execute Investor Base analysis as well as reputation analysis and management for the Company 

  • Bring in competitor information, benchmarking, and perspectives from the investment community 

  • Coordinate with Legal, Communications, Finance, Business Development, Regulatory, Research and Development, and Marketing to acquire an extensive knowledge base on all aspects of the Company’s product portfolio and business strategy 

  • Work closely with the Finance team to analyze financial results and compile important statistics and other relevant information for use during the quarterly earnings announcement and conference call and throughout the quarter during regular discussions with investors 

  • Work closely with the operating company and the corporate communication departments to provide guidance on disclosure obligations, financial analysts’ perspectives, and coordination of media and investment community communications 

  • Work with the Business Development teams on licensing and acquisitions communication strategy including liaising with buyers/sellers 

  • Provide support to the Manager, Investor Relations in developing key investment messages regarding financial performance, business conditions, strategies, and growth fundamentals with the Executive Team 

  • Be a key participant in the development of overall strategy and messaging for Investor Business Review meetings  

  • Coordinate and prepare investor materials such as presentations, earnings press releases, conference call scripts, SEC filings, and information kits  

  • Provide support in conducting analyst calls with senior management as needed 

  • Training and managing analysts on various deliverables 


Position Requirements:  

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance 

  • A minimum of 3 years of total work experience with direct investor relations or comparable experience in Corporate Finance 

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills 

  • Must have strong written and oral communications skills and a solid understanding of corporate financials, public company accounting, regulatory issues, and equity markets  

  • Must exhibit strong professionalism and be comfortable around executive management 

  • Strong team building experience  

  • Should be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment 

  • Ability to develop relationships and inspire confidence, trust, and respect from internal and external contacts 

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well in a small team environment  

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task well  

Preferred Competencies: 

  • Consumer Health Products industry experience
