Join the Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS), located in Washington, DC, and representing the nation’s nearly one million workers across the plastics industry supply chain. PLASTICS is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources & Administration to provide strategic leadership and executive oversight for its Human Resources, Information Technology, Data, and Office Operations functions.

As the VP of HR & Administration, you will be responsible for advancing a people-centered culture, strengthening organizational capability, and ensuring the Association’s people, technology, data, and workplace strategies align with PLASTICS’ mission and strategic priorities.
Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Chief of Staff, you will serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and a senior advisor to leaders across PLASTICS on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, technology, and administration. This role manages four direct reports.
Qualified candidates offer:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources and organizational leadership experience, including experience leading an HR function and advising executive leadership
- Minimum of five years of experience leading and managing teams
- Demonstrated experience developing people and culture strategies that strengthen employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organizational performance
- Expert knowledge of human resources management practices, processes, and programs
- Working knowledge of enterprise technology, data governance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, facilities, and administrative operations

Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000, plus bonus potential
