Resilience Mind Network is seeking an experienced Grant Strategy and Development Consultant to build a fundable grant strategy and lead proposal development aligned with trauma-informed systems, mental health access, culturally responsive programming, immigration-related support pathways, and workforce development for underserved communities.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Deliverables Conduct a grant readiness review (program framing, outcomes alignment, budget alignment, documentation needs, and compliance readiness).
Build a prioritized funding pipeline aligned with Resilience Mind Network's mission and pillars .
Develop letters of inquiry and full proposals, including narratives, budgets (in collaboration with leadership), and required attachments .
Create reusable grant assets, such as: organization overview language, case for support language, outcomes framework, and reporting tracker .
Maintain a submission calendar, tracking system, and follow-up plan for funder communications
Ensure all grant narratives and funding strategies reflect Resilience Mind Network's population focus and core pillars (dignity, identity, stability, safety, voice, and community strengthening) .
Demonstrated grant writing and grant strategy success for nonprofit organizations serving underserved or marginalized communities (mental health, trauma-impacted populations, immigrant and refugee communities, workforce development, community-based programs, or health equity initiatives).
Ability to translate complex, systems-level programming into funder-ready outcomes without "charity framing".
Strong writing, strategy, and proposal management skills.
Ethical, transparent work style with clear deliverables, timelines, and communication practices.
Comfort working within ethical and legal boundaries when a nonprofit collaborates with multiple service providers and partner organizations.
