Description
Behavioral Health Resources is seeking a 16 to 32 hours per week outpatient-based Child Psychiatrist. We would love to have you join our team of compassionate professionals. Our culture is inclusive and collaborative, and we provide good support to our medical team. The psychiatric provider work is performed in a comprehensive community mental health setting providing psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment of children. This position can work 32 hours per week and be benefited if you are willing to see adult patients or up to 24 hours a week non benefited if primarily youth under 18 years of age.
The schedule and work environment at BHR is set to allow adequate time with clients and for a team approach: 2-hour evaluations, 30-minute follow-ups, plus dedicated time for paperwork and urgent appointments. All clients are also seeing a case manager or therapist who works in the same office and in the same medical record system.
Compensation information: $146- $170 per hour if benefited, and $241 per hour if non-benefited. Part-time employees are eligible for sick leave accruals in accordance with Washington State law. Benefited employees working 32 hours per week are eligible for an exceptional benefits package with 100% paid medical, dental, vision, long term disability and basic life insurance for the employee, 5% contribution to a 403b retirement plan after one year of employment, 10 paid holidays plus 2 personal holidays per year, a generous paid time off policy, and reimbursement of credentialing expenditures. BHR is an eligible employer for the Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program. BHR is open to a contract non-benefited work agreement. This position comes with an up to $10,000 sign-on bonus based on FTE.

Requirements
MD degree with psychiatric specialty.
Licensed to practice in the State of Washington.
Board eligible or board certified in child psychiatry (willing to consider applicants who are board certified in general psychiatry with experience and interest in treating children of all ages).
Willingness to treat adults, if needed.
Maintain current DEA license and necessary certificates/working agreements for prescribing schedule II-V drugs.
