JOB SUMMARY Join the UT Southwestern team as a Lab Manager to lead our Anatomic Pathology department. This pivotal role is responsible for the development and execution of departmental work plans that align with the broader strategic goals of UT Southwestern University Hospitals. The incumbent will serve as a primary steward of financial objectives, overseeing resource allocation, budgeting, and performance improvement initiatives. By leveraging advanced process improvement methodologies and efficiency metrics, the Manager will ensure that laboratory operations consistently exceed institutional benchmarks for quality, access, and fiscal integrity.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required Education Bachelor’s Degree in Science.
Experience 5 years of experience working as a histotechnologist or cytotechnologist. 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience in Anatomic Pathology.
Licenses and Certifications (HTL) HISTOTECHNOLOGIST (ASCP) or (ASCP-CT) ASCP-CYTOLOGIST (CT) (ASCP) or (MT) MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST (ASCP)
Preferred Education Master’s Degree in Health Administration, Business or Public Health.
