North Suffolk is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our team!  The Program Coordinator is responsible for administrative operations of the Hanton House, our newest residential addictions program located in Chelsea, MA.  This position is responsible for the oversight of kitchen, food procurement, purchase ordering (paper goods, toiletries, linens, furniture, office supplies, etc.) and carries a small case management caseload.

What you’ll do:

  • Be responsible for all administrative duties associated with the Hanton House, including ensuring compliance with the BSAS and NSMHA policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a small case management caseload (2-4 residents)
  • Support the development and maintenance of the Hanton House by working closely with Program Manager, Clinical Coordinator and Intake Coordinator.
  • Facilitate staff meetings and non-clinical resident groups
  • Serve as culturally and linguistically appropriate services (CLAS) point person.
  • Assist management in resolving issues relating to the Hanton House program.
  • Conduct public relations activities, not limited to but including the Hanton House Steering Committee
  • Assure the quality of Hanton House interventions by establishing performance standards, providing direction to staff, and developing new and innovative programming based on outcome data, research and industry standards.
  • Supervise the bachelors level staff, under the guidance of the Program Manager.
  • Manage administrative/program operations to optimize efficient service delivery, including but not limited to all purchase orders, work orders, supplies, staff schedules, etc.
  • Maintain communication between the Hanton House Program, NSMHA and other community stakeholders and agencies involved with the Hanton House (MOU/BAA).
  • Provide consistent leadership to team/program in support of quality services and attainment of program and agency goals.
  • Input data regularly to ensure necessary tracking is completed for outcome measures.
  • Actively engage in collaboration, teamwork and relationship building to optimize the quality of services, program and agency effectiveness, and employee job satisfaction.


What you’ll need:

  • Education:  Bachelors degree required.
  • Experience:  Two to four years’ experience in human services or work with SUDS and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Skills:  Valid Massachusetts drivers license required.  MAP & CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to become certified (training provided)
