Southern Illinois University School of Medicine is expanding its Family Medicine faculty and is recruiting full-time physicians committed to academic medicine, resident education, and community health.
These roles offer a strong balance of clinical care, teaching, and academic growth within a school-of-medicine–supported residency program and affiliated FQHC.

Assistant Program Director / Director of Osteopathic Education – Faculty leadership role focused on curriculum development, osteopathic recognition, resident mentoring, and scholarship
Family Medicine Faculty with Obstetrics – Full-spectrum Family Medicine with OB, inpatient care, and resident teaching

Key Responsibilities
Outpatient and inpatient clinical care including OB when applicable
Supervision and teaching of residents and learners
Participation in educational, scholarly, and program initiatives
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Eligible for Illinois licensure
Commitment to teaching and underserved populations
OB skills for FM with OB role
Osteopathic education experience for leadership role
