Chief Financial Officer (Confidential Search)

We are seeking a strategic, growth-oriented Chief Financial Officer to help lead and scale a high-performing automotive dealership organization with locations across Florida and Georgia. This executive will serve as a trusted partner to ownership, driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and long-term value creation across a multi-rooftop platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, internal controls, and performance management
• Partner closely with ownership to drive strategic planning, investment decisions, and growth initiatives
• Build, optimize, and scale financial infrastructure to support expansion and operational efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements and best-in-class financial practices
• Provide leadership and mentorship across the organization, influencing stakeholders at all levels

• Significant experience within a multi-rooftop automotive dealership environment
• Ability to operate effectively at both a strategic and hands-on level
• Proven success scaling financial operations in a high-growth organization
• Experience working directly with ownership groups, boards, or private investors
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (MBA and/or CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a multi-dealership environment and/or public accounting
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing finance teams
• Automotive retail experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills
