Position Description:

The Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership (KY-MEP) at the University of Louisville is seeking a Temporary Multimedia Specialist I to support KY-MEP marketing activities. Activities include photography, videography, graphic design, and other general marketing needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stage and engage manufacturing clients in video and still photo shoots during manufacturing expos and other manufacturing activities.
• Create and update print and digital marketing materials
• Provide graphic and design artwork for KY-MEP client project work.
• Oversee content and design of the KY-MEP website.
• Lead keyword research, review SEO analytics/metrics, report on marketing campaign results and optimize as needed to enhance social media performance.

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or similar
• Own and operate photography, videography and editing programs and equipment
• Experience developing "storyboards" of design for design projects
• Working knowledge of professional social media platforms and content best practices. Such as posting, hashtag and linking strategies.
• Ability to travel as needed to support workshops and promotional events.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
