Job Purpose

The Test Manager holds the responsibility of overseeing and facilitating the software testing and leading all aspects of Testing efforts. As the Test Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, execution, and reporting of test cases and test scenarios to ensure that software meets the business and technical requirements, quality standards and is free from errors or defects. You will be responsible for shaping the testing process and methodology, aligning it with project goals, and overseeing its execution. You will be collaborating with other stakeholders, such as developers, project managers, boundary apps owners, and business analysts to ensure that testing aligns with project goals, timelines, and objectives. Your decisions and actions significantly influence the success of the project by helping to deliver a product that meets or exceeds the expectations of stakeholders.

This pivotal role within Evolution Program interfaces with functional, technical and program management leadership.

What you will do...

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• The Project Test Manager will support the Project Evolution Program by leading all aspects of Testing efforts during Systems Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business cutover phases.
• The space includes Oracle ERP, RentalMan, Coupa, and other eco systems. In addition, the Test Manager will lead all testing efforts during Hypercare and Postproduction testing phases.
• You will be engaged during Conference Room Pilots and work closely with Change Management Lead (CM), Training and Adoption Leads throughout the project lifecycle.
• To be successful in this role you should have holistic thinking approach, great communication skills, a strong business and service orientation and superior attention to detail.

• Quality assurance and control
• Process and Procedure improvements
• Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Program Manager.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in an analyst or supervisor role.General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process.
• Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools.
• People skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills
  Planning and management skills
• Knowledge of the domain, system or application-under-test (desirable).
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP and RentalMan is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding in functional analysis, business process, use cases, functional design, and requirements documentation.
• Strategic thinking, with superior attention to detail.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance/Economics/Accounting or technology
• Formal training in disciplines of Business Analysis and/or Project Management
• PMP Certification highly desired
• Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word)
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is highly desirable

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to follow-up on issues independently and ensure they are resolved promptly, escalating when necessary.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to actively listen, interact with all Program team members.

Pay Range: $130,000-$150,000
