Associate - Real Estate AcquisitionsA leading Real Estate Private Equity firm (~$10B AUM) is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join its Acquisitions team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals in sourcing, underwriting, and executing real estate investments across various asset classes and markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the identification and evaluation of new real estate investment opportunities.
- Leading financial underwriting and due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.
- Preparing detailed investment memoranda and participating in Investment Committee presentations.
- Building and maintaining complex financial models to evaluate investment returns and capital structures.
- Conducting in-depth market research to support investment theses and identify trends.
- Coordinating with legal, financing, and third-party consultants to facilitate transaction closings.
- Tracking and managing the deal pipeline, including updates on status, milestones, and investment metrics.
- Providing strategic recommendations on acquisition pricing, structuring, and risk assessment.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Argus is preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of real estate valuation metrics (e.g., IRR, equity multiple, DCF, NOI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for property tours, market research, and due diligence.
