Overview
Consor is seeking a Public Involvement (PI) Coordinator to join our Draper, UT office. This position requires a candidate with strong time management, written and verbal communication, planning, organization, active listening, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to take initiative, work independently, and coordinate efforts with multi-discipline teams. The candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail and have the ability to produce high quality work under short time constraints. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Create and maintain detailed PI logs and stakeholder databases
- Manage PI efforts for infrastructure projects including stakeholder meetings, email updates, 24/7 hotline management, website updates, social media, etc.
- Develop PI materials such as communication plans, flyers, postcards, maps, and other outreach tools
- Attend project meetings, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items
- Prepare for and facilitate public events such as open houses, workshops, public hearings, neighborhood meetings, ribbon cuttings, etc.
Qualifications
- Pursuing or holding a degree in communications, journalism, English, public relations, marketing, or advertising
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail
- Familiarity with municipal and government policies (a plus not required)
- Valid driver's license (required)

This is a full-time position in Draper, Utah.
•This hybrid position fluctuates between an office environment and a field environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, and copy machines. This job will require occasional exposure to work environments that may include inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, construction hazards, atmospheric conditions, and bodies of water, depending on project requirements.•While performing the duties of this job, physical demands of the employee include frequent sitting, walking, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling. This job will require operating a company vehicle, and may include lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.PI281638501
