Our subsidiary Cream Consulting is recruiting in Brussels, Belgium.
Cream Consulting is a Business & Technology consulting firm working with major clients in banking, insurance, telecommunications, energy, public sector, and transportation .
As part of our growth, we are looking for a motivated, results-oriented Product Owner to join an Agile team within one of our banking clients and help maximize product value while ensuring successful project delivery using Agile methodologies.
Your Mission
As a Product Owner , you will:
- Maximize product value and ensure successful delivery within an Agile environment
- Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master and cross-functional teams
- Ensure alignment between business needs, technical teams, and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate clear communication of goals, priorities, and expectations
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage Sprints in collaboration with the Scrum Master
- Define, maintain, and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value and regulatory constraints
- Ensure the Product Backlog is transparent and understandable for all stakeholders
- Coordinate the team and keep the backlog structured and up-to-date
- Write clear, actionable user stories
- Optimize team performance and delivery
- Collaborate closely with technical and business teams in a highly regulated banking environment
Profile
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering , or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, ideally in banking, financial services, or insurance
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in French or Dutch (good knowledge of the other language is an asset) and English
- Experience working in a regulated environment is a strong plus
