Description
This position is part of the Latin America and Canada Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) department. CCOR defines the framework to manage the Compliance, Conduct and Operational risk firmwide across all line of businesses and functions, and maintains related oversight.The CCOR Analyst will join as a member of the Latin America and Canada (LAC) Core team and will work close with the team located in the Buenos Aires Corporate Center (BACC) that has regional responsibilities and assists in the execution of the CCOR program for the region and for the specific legal entity
Key duties and responsibilities
- Support the LAC Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk teams in initiatives related to the Central Business Management agenda, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Analyze and escalate relevant Compliance Metrics
- Produce executive committee materials by compiling and consolidating information across the region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist the LAC CCOR Control Manager in the risk and control assessment process, including ongoing maintenance of processes, issues and controls in the firmwide platform (CORE).
- Support control evaluations, internal audits and substantive tests providing required documentation and explanations
- Provide advisory support on Employee Compliance and other CCOR policies and standards in response to queries from BACC employees
- Conduct local and/or regional ad-hoc reviews for areas within scope
- Identify processes enhancements and automation opportunities, collaborating in the implementation of the solutions
- Build and maintain key relationships across the wider CCOR department and with key partners, fostering a culture of engagement and collaboration
- Facilitate Compliance awareness sessions to promote understanding of policies and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in accounting, business administration, industrial engineering or a related field.
- Strong control and process orientation, with keen attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to solve problems independently
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, delivering results within established timeframes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Experience with Alteryx/Tableau and/or other automation and data visualization tools is desirable
