MEGlobal Americas Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Oyster Creek, TX site. This position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and benefits. You will also support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, and provide guidance to employees and leaders on HR-related matters.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Support administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans; serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries
- Develop, review, and recommend changes to HR policies and procedures to ensure they align with best practices, regulatory requirements and organizational goals
- Conduct investigations into employee concerns as required
- Advise, guide and support leaders with employee relations matters, including performance management and the corrective action process
- Conduct exit interviews and share feedback on trends with relevant parties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment regulations and industry standards
- Participate in management of leaves, including short-term disability, parental, etc.
- Manage mandatory drug and alcohol testing program
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP ) preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset
