Description
Drive workforce capability, positive culture and organisational success! An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join a leading South Australian organisation on a 12-month contract.This role plays a key part in supporting leaders across a diverse research and corporate environment, delivering practical, HR advice that drives workforce capability, positive culture and organisational success.This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leaders across the organisation, acting as a trusted partner and driving meaningful impact across workforce planning, employee relations, organisational change and leadership capability. You'll be part of a collaborative, highly supportive HR team that genuinely champions high quality people outcomes and values fresh thinking, strong relationships and proactive problem solving.
In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience by delivering quality employee and industrial relations advice. You'll take the lead on performance, conduct, grievance and disciplinary matters, navigating them through to resolution with confidence and professionalism, and escalating high risk issues where appropriate.
You'll also be hands on in coordinating workplace investigations-preparing documentation, contributing to findings, and coaching leaders to make sound, compliant and culturally aligned decisions. Your strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and employment contracts will enable you to influence outcomes, build capability and create real value across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or a related field, along with proven experience in a HR Advisory or HR Business Partner role. You'll bring strong employee and industrial relations capability, including investigations, performance management and dispute resolution, supported by solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Modern Awards.
You combine a strategic mindset with a pragmatic, outcomes focused approach, bringing the insight and influence needed to drive meaningful results. Your credibility, calm presence and strong ethical compass ensure you handle sensitive matters with absolute professionalism and confidentiality.
