The Global Associate Vice President of Branded Residential is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic execution and operational excellence of the branded residential business across all phases-from pre-development through long-term operations. This role will drive performance and alignment across development planning, service delivery, legal and regulatory compliance, HOA administration owner experience, and financial outcomes -ensuring the residential portfolio meets the standards of world-class hospitality brands. The Role
This individual serves as one of the foremost branded residential experts on pre-development projects, residential operations and governance; working cross-functionally with development, design, legal, finance, marketing/sales, and hotel operations teams to protect and elevate the brand's residential footprint globally. Additionally, the Global Associate Vice President of Branded Residential will provide direct guidance and support to on-property field leaders to deliver consistent brand execution and operational excellence across all locations. Key responsibilities include:
Strategic & Pre-Development Planning
- Guide residential input for new developments across brands and regions.
- Lead pre-development planning including financial modeling, feasibility input, and residential brand positioning.
- Partner with development and design teams to ensure residential program alignment with brand, market, and operational goals.
- Define residential scope of services, management structure, and operating budgets.
- Support all legal project initiatives including various suite of agreements and regime documents along with creation of other compliance related items such as HOA administration and budget support; liaison with legal parties and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure all service offerings are identified for new projects in preparation for mobilization of project launch and other various aspects in this development phase that require support.
Legal, Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Oversee residential governance including HOA/strata formation, owner documentation, and budget oversight.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure brand-aligned governing documents and compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
- Monitor compliance with brand standards, management agreements, and regulatory frameworks.
- Create and support ongoing opportunities for consistent standards amongst legal instruments and seek innovation opportunities to advance documents for the long-term along with regularly auditing of documents.
Residential Operations Leadership & Field Support
- Develop and oversee standard operating procedures (SOPs) for branded residential service delivery and common area management.
- Provide strategic oversight and hands-on support to residential operations field leaders across properties.
- Ensure operational readiness for residential launches, including staffing, training, technology systems, and resident onboarding.
- Establish performance metrics for service quality, owner satisfaction, and operational efficiency and asset performance.
- Support from pre-development through operational systems of all RMA programs, where applicable, for compliance, form and presentation consistency and resident advocacy.
Owner Experience, Service Delivery & HOA Administration
- Create and oversee the delivery of elevated residential service programs that reflect branded hospitality DNA.
- Foster a resident-centric culture that balances privacy, exclusivity, and personalization.
- Coordinate shared services with hotel operations, including amenities access, concierge, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Lead HOA administration strategy across properties, including formation, budgeting, governance, and ongoing compliance.
- Serve as a liaison between brand operations and third-party HOA managers or boards, ensuring alignment with brand standards and owner expectations.
- Brand & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as internal subject matter expert on branded residential operations, governance, and owner experience.
- Support residential marketing, sales, and owner communications with brand-consistent positioning.
- Partner with key stakeholders to optimize residential profitability, HOA health, and long-term asset value.
- Manage residential business line metrics, analytics and reporting package along with fee forecasting and tracking.
- Oversee relations with Hyatt's licensee with respect to the shared ownership/timeshare business for Hyatt Vacation Ownership club matters as main point of contact.
This incumbent needs to have (1) a wide and varied skill base, (2) strategic leadership and operational execution, (3) an understanding of the branded residential and shared ownership markets, (4) facilitate the opening and successful operation of residential projects, (5) field team mentorship and cross-property collaboration, (6) residential governance and HOA expertise, 7) financial and legal acumen in residential real estate globally, (8) brand stewardship and owner experience leadership, and (9) service innovation and delivery as best in class standards. The Global Associate Vice President of Branded Residential will report to the Global Head of Branded Residential.
Qualifications
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Hospitality, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of leadership experience in branded residential, luxury real estate, shared ownership or hospitality.
- Demonstrated expertise in HOA administration, governance models, and legal frameworks.
- Proven track record of executing residential developments, service programs, and operating platforms in high-end or lifestyle environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills across internal teams, owners, and third-party partners.
- Global perspective with experience managing residential field operations across multiple markets.
- Passion for hospitality, design, service excellence, and community lifestyle.

The salary range for this position is $161,300 - $200,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
