Role Overview
As a Business Manager, you will be a strategic partner to Payments leadership in Chile, helping drive business performance, manage risks, and support key initiatives. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence outcomes, lead change, and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business heads as a trusted advisor, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.
- Lead performance management activities, including financial analysis, reporting, and communication of business results.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks, ensuring compliance with corporate objectives and policies.
- Develop business cases for strategic investments and process improvements.
- Drive change by prioritizing issues, proposing solutions, and leading initiatives to completion.
- Prepare impactful presentations and reports for senior management, synthesizing complex information into clear narratives.
- Oversee expense management, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Data & Analytics to achieve business objectives.
- Support business resiliency and continuity efforts.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in financial services, business management, or a similar strategic role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Alteryx or Tableau is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to distill complex information into key insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations.
- Confident leader with the ability to influence outcomes and build relationships across teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, consulting-style environment.
- Experience in Payments or understanding of payments products and processes is preferred.
- Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.
