SUMMARY:
The Employee Experience & Facility Business Partner is a highly organized, service oriented, and proactive professional responsible for creating a positive, efficient and engaging work environment by managing office operations, culture, technology, and employee well-being. This role ensures the smooth daily operation of the corporate office while supporting teams across administrative, financial, vendor management, and facility functions. Acts as the central point of coordination for workplace logistics and employee experience initiatives. By maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and hospitality, this role enhances both employee satisfaction and overall business productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains all aspects of the corporate office environment including optimization of office layout for collaboration and productivity.
Oversees daily functions and services like cleaning, facilities maintenance, storage unit and overall office management to ensure a clean, safe and functional workspace.
Serves as a liaison with Real Estate Corporate team to align with corporate standards as well as outsource of specific and ad-hoc services.
Serves as safety point of contact ensuring company standards related to OSHA, fire code, environmental health & safety standards, legal notices, emergency evacuation plans; ability to audit and align on and risk mitigation.
Manages routine inspections, maintenance, and emergency repairs in coordination with building management.
Suggests and manages workplace technology including booking/reservation systems, desk set ups, conference room bookings.
Implements engagement activities in coordination with the Engagement team, planning events both in office and offsite, building community and fostering the DHL culture.
Coordinates communications with senior leaders and the communication team to share updates and drive activity participation.
Supports well-being initiatives including blood drives, health, happiness, and work-life balance.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business, related field or related work experience.
CFM (Certified Facility Manager) from IFMA or equivalent a plus
2 to 3 years of experience managing corporate office environments, experience in administrative management roles.
5+ years working in a corporate setting.
Project management preferred.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
Positive attitude and "can-do" mentality that is customer service oriented.
Excellent listening, organization and communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage several assignments.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Outstanding multitasking, planning, problem-solving; ability to strategize for long-term facility needs and sustainability initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication; capable of liaising with executives, staff, and external vendors. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical demands are mostly consistent with a professional office setting.
Regular sitting at workstation for 25 75% of the work shift.
Nominal travel (<10%) may be required.
