Echoing Hills Village has partnered with FaithSearch Partners to search for their next Director of Finance/Corporate Controller role. Echoing Hills is a non-profit ministry dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to know and experience Jesus Christ. Programs and services include: Intermediate Care Facilities for people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities; Waiver Services; Summer Camp; Travel Program; Respite Programs; Adult Service Program; and Post-secondary Education Transition Program. These programs are offered throughout Ohio over five geographic regions. Cities include Warsaw, Canal Fulton, Uniontown, Athens, Dayton, Lorain and Elyria. As a pivotal leader, the Director of Finance/Corporate Controller drives the Ministry's financial health, directly supporting the core mission and purpose. This role is responsible for directing all fiscal operations, from setting financial goals and managing budgets to ensuring rigorous compliance with federal and state regulations. The Director also oversees strategic investments, manages cash effectively, assesses financial risks, and implements capital-raising initiatives crucial for the expansion of Echoing Hills Village.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a related field is required.
Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
CPA preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years of leadership/management level experience in accounting or finance.
A minimum of five (5) years’ related experience in the field of accounting or finance. Prior accounting experience in the Not-for-Profit and/or healthcare sector strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Ideally, the Director will have experience with applicable Medicaid, Department of Labor and IRS regulations, general management principles and HIPAA regulations as it relates to information gathering, storage, and dissemination.
Working knowledge of managerial, financial accounting, and not-for-profit accrual accounting.
Knowledge of consolidating related corporations’ financial statements.
Working knowledge of rules and regulations affecting the accounting department by various regulatory agencies.
Working knowledge of capital structure management, cash management, cost analysis/controls, investment management and long/short term financing.
Proficiency with software i.e. Microsoft Excel, Human Resource Information Systems, Sage Intacct or similar Enterprise Resource Planning/General Ledger Software.
A solid track record and experience in budgeting, capital planning, and labor productivity management.
A demonstrated ability to build and mentor effective teams.
A management style which is fair, consistent, and open, but emphasizes accountability and measures results.
