Description
What You'll be Doing:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy to enhance the District's visibility, reputation, and community engagement.
- Manage the District's website, social media, and digital platforms to deliver accurate, timely, and engaging content.
- Lead the planning, design, and distribution of marketing materials and coordinate press releases, public relations, and community engagement efforts.
- Serve as the primary media contact and collaborate with staff, administrators, and board members to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Develop and oversee student storytelling initiatives, including mentoring student content creators to elevate student voice.
- Monitor and refine communication strategies while ensuring compliance with policies, accessibility standards, and legal requirements, and supporting crisis communications and key District initiatives.
Requirements
What You'll Need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Education, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Job-related experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field is required. Experience in a school district or non-profit environment is highly desirable. Experience with digital platforms, social media growth, and student engagement is preferred.
- Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Education, or a related field. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement communication strategies, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Valid driver's license and successful completion of required background clearance are required.
