We combine dedicated, customer-centered service with innovative operations across multiple locations. The Payroll Manager will be based in our West Palm Beach campus/dealership office and will oversee high-volume payroll for 750+ employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and supplemental payroll for approximately 750+ employees.
- Manage payroll across multiple dealership locations, cost centers, and legal entities.
- Review, audit, and correct timekeeping entries for accuracy, reasonableness, and compliance.
- Maintain payroll and timekeeping systems (Paylocity) and audit CDK payroll data for alignment.
- Process dealership pay plans including commissions, flat rate, spiffs, bonuses, retro adjustments, PTO accruals, reimbursements, and benefits deductions.
- Prepare and maintain payroll tax filings and reports including 941, SUI, W-2s, and ACA forms (1094/1095).
- Own payroll compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness across all dealership locations.
- Support annual Workers’ Compensation reporting and payroll-related audits.
- Assist with annual open enrollment and process payroll-related employee benefit changes accordingly.
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and perform payroll-related benefits audits.
- Research and resolve payroll inquiries related to pay, taxes, deductions, and garnishments.
- Train supervisors on proper use of timekeeping systems and provide ongoing support.
- Partner with HR, Accounting, and IT on payroll systems, interfaces, and special projects.
- Perform accounting and finance-related duties during non-payroll weeks as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of payroll experience in an automotive dealership environment (required).
- 5+ years processing high-volume payroll (500+ employees).
- Proven experience processing complex dealership compensation structures.
- Proficiency with CDK required.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. payroll regulations and compliance.
- Advanced computer proficiency (Microsoft Office suite).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Hands-on Paylocity payroll and timekeeping experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Florida if not local.
